"An orgy of war, fashion, history, genius and cool" is how the BooB debut album - Best of Boob, Vol. 1 - has most commonly been described. The album blends creative storytelling with a rock solid base in their musical talents.
"It's not a $1,000 a day studio album, we did it with no drums, one mic, whatever instruments we could scrounge together on a 4 track in our living room in one eve to sunrise stint."

This band is held together by something stronger than money, obviously. It is the music and a lot of alcohol that keeps them stranded together throughout the recording sessions says Slicky--former guitar/keys for the national touring band Gray-V. "I used to play with this great band, Gray-V, man it was hot, oh so hot, but then the tour demands started to kick in. And with my 1957 Falcon....I just couldn't make it, so I sorta ended up stuck here, really, they {points to other members of BooB lying past-out in various positions around the room} keep me really drunk and they feed me, so what more do I really need?" (A slightly confused/distressed look fleetingly passes over his face.)
But Slicky is not the only one that comes from a diversely rich musical background. In fact, all members of BooB, have joined forces from other, some more prominent, bands.

Constant Creek -vocals, guitar- brings a rich and varied musical career, from a brief stint as "Judas " in Jesus Christ Superstar, to his heavy metal days with "Crushed Carnations," to his more relaxed folky days where his music was a backdrop for the group sing alongs during his days in Commune Swamp. He will be the supreme ruler one day.

Whoops Waldman– vocals- has proven her prowress on stage after stage, litterally bowling over people in the first 4 rows with the pure force of her voice. She has recorded with artists such as "John Moosa Band" and "Glasseye Sugardaddy" and was once part of a band that never got named but she is very happy to finally be in a band without a stupid jackass in it.

Rollargirl –kazoo, backup vocals- and Gloves–xylophone, backup vocals- were once part of the threesome "McMurphy and the Pussywillows" and the world is hard pressed to find a better trip/happy band now that they have stopped the late nite jams in The Commune. The world of the drum machine will never be the same.
